Introduction to Artocarpus

Artocarpus species comprise over 70 tropical plants that play a vital role in food security and sustainable agriculture. These nutrient-rich species support millions of livelihoods and demonstrate significant potential for farming systems and agroforestry applications.

The Artocarpus Genome Database provides seven high-quality genome sequences with eight types of functional annotations. The database integrates multiple bioinformatics tools (BLAST, JBrowse, RNA-seq, Syntenic View, and GeneFamily) to support genomic and transcriptomic analyses. This freely accessible resource is regularly updated to facilitate research on genetic improvement and sustainable utilization of Artocarpus species.
