1. Introduction
The Artocarpus Genome Database contains genomic data for multiple species of the genus Artocarpus. The Database is jointly developed by the Plant Evolution Research Group, School of Life Sciences, Qufu Normal University; Huazhong Agricultural University and South China Botanical Garden,
Chinese Academy of Sciences. All rights to the Database are reserved by Qufu Normal University.

2. Definitions
Database: Refers to the Artocarpus Genome Database and all genomic sequences, annotations, and associated data contained therein.
User: Any individual or entity accessing or using the Database.
Commercial Use: Any activity intended for or directed toward commercial advantage or monetary compensation.
3. Permitted Uses
Subject to compliance with these Terms of Use, Users may:
Access, download, and use the genomic data in the Database for scientific research purposes.
Cite and analyze data from the Database in scientific publications.
Use the data for educational and non-commercial purposes.
Utilize the data for comparative genomic analyses and other academic investigations.
4. Restrictions
Users shall not:
Use the Database content for any commercial purpose without obtaining prior written permission.
Distribute complete copies of the Database to third parties.
Claim intellectual property rights over the Database content.
Modify the data or present it in a potentially misleading manner.
Redistribute substantial portions of the Database without appropriate attribution.
5. Citation Requirements
In all publications, presentations, or other scholarly works that utilize data from the Database, Users must cite both the Database and the original data sources.
6. Additional Provisions
Data Quality and Limitation of Liability
While we strive to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data, we assume no responsibility for possible errors or omissions in the Database. The Database is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. Users assume all risk associated with its use.
The developers and maintainers of the Database shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Database or its content.
Privacy and Data Collection
We may collect anonymous statistical data regarding Database usage to improve service quality. We respect user privacy and do not collect personally identifiable information unless voluntarily provided by users.
Intellectual Property
The structure and organization of the Database are protected by copyright law. All rights to the Database are owned by Qufu Normal University. Unless otherwise stated, the genomic data within the Database is shared according to principles of open science data.
Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to users via the Database website or email.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
